You get dress-up items for your doll avatar in return for uploading photos of your real-life fashion items. You also get the site's 'currency' when you upload the pictures and when people comment on them - so you can then 'buy' even more pretty dresses for your virtual doll! ^___^

It's important, then, that the photos are pretty, so they will attract a lot of commenters, and generate more 'income' for the doll!

I'm a very poor photographer, but I realized I'd love to set up the pictures so that my objects are more able to tell the viewers their story, so to speak.

This is a second piece of my very first pirate-lolita outfit: a navy blue jacket, on which I replaced the original buttons with these silver colour ones, for a more piratey feel!

It's shown together with an 1933 edition of the Kingsway Shakespeare, with colour plates.

For anyone interested, the image in the photo depicts a scene from The Winter's Tale. It's the old shepherd and his son finding baby Perdita and a casket of gold among the rocks by the seaside, after the shipwreck that separated her from her father.
